Time sure flies!

Wow! Our wedding is in 25 days!!! Where has the time gone?!

We are officially in countdown mode, I know I have been counting for a while now but now everyone else is too! Our wedding is in less than one month and we are soooo excited for it to be here. It's kind of like a love/hate relationship... weird, I know. But even though we are totally enjoying this time before our wedding, I mean it's Halloween and we have been spending a lot of time with our family and friends, but we are SO ready to be married! What a glorious day it will be when we are forever sealed as husband and wife. We can not even put into words how elated we both are to know that God has given us such a beautiful blessing, to be with the ones we love forever.

Here's a little update of what we have been up to since our last post! Pretty much all of our wedding plans are complete, YES! Now we are worrying about finding a place to live... and it's harder than I thought it would be.

We really want to buy a home, I mean it's a great buyers market! But it's also very competitive and we have not been having the best of luck with our endeavor. So now, with the wedding less than a month away, we are looking for an apartment to move into so we can keep looking for our home. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't worried about the home buying process, becuase it kind of freaks me out! Am I really old enough to buy a house?! Of course, Nick, is old enough, he's way more of an adult than I am... sort of. It boggles my mind that we can actually buy a house! But it's the right thing for us to do. But not until we know that we have found the right house to make our home.

Aside from our not so determined living situation, there is not much else to worry about until our big day! Nick and I are meeting with our Bishops next week and I am so excited! I have thought about this moment almost my entire life and it still seems like a dream! I get to go inside the temple with the love of my life! Wow...

I want to thank our families. They have been so supportive and helpful and we feel so blessed to be surrounded by so much love. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!

  1. You guys are such a beautiful couple! I can't wait to be in the temple with you and have Nick become an official part of our family.

  2. You are so adorable Ashley. I see only one problem with this post, and that is that you think Nick is an adult. : ) Sorry, he'll always be the BABY! J/K Don't worry about finding the right place, Heavenly Father will put the right place into your hands as you search and you'll like it, wherever that may be. It'll work out, and you'll love those first newlywed days in some cute apartment somewhere. : ) Hugs!
